Liza Jones has joined South Carolina�s largest advertising and marketing firm, Erwin-Penland, as a senior public relations account executive. Jones brings more than six years of public relations and marketing experience to her new role. Previously she worked at Cookerly Public Relations in Atlanta. As a senior account executive, she handled such accounts as Raymond James Financial and King & Spalding LLP. Prior to that, she worked as marketing coordinator for ComSquared Systems, also of Atlanta. "Liza's background in financial services and her expertise in media relations will be a great addition to our public relations capabilities," said Barry Finkelstein, vice president and director of integrated marketing for the 140-plus person agency. "Her record of success with media outlets across the country will be a tremendous asset to our growing base of regional and national clients." Jones will primarily work with Erwin-Penland client Millicare, particularly on their media and industry-relations needs. She will also serve such clients as Advance America, AmeriCold and ScanSource, offering expertise in strategic counsel and media relations. A graduate of Clemson University with a bachelor�s degree in Speech & Communications Studies, Jones has been active in the Public Relations Society of America and has volunteered with Hands on Atlanta. She is a native of Greenville, S.C. Erwin-Penland also recently hired Chip Caddell, Shannon Fish, and Lauren Lindsay. Caddell joins Erwin-Penland as an interactive programmer. His responsibilities include website design and development. He previously worked for Ewtigo as a technical architect. The Greenville native graduated from Furman University with a bachelor�s degree in computer science. Lindsay has been hired as a production specialist for the Verizon Wireless account. She will be responsible for preflighting and preparing jobs for printers and monitoring the quality of production. While earning a Bachelor of Science in graphic communications and a minor in business administration from Clemson University, Lindsay was a graphic artist for International Paper. Based in Greenville, S.C., Erwin-Penland (www.erwinpenland.com) is a full-service marketing firm that provides advertising, conference and event planning, interactive, public relations and strategic planning services to such clients as Verizon Wireless, Wachovia, BMW, Uniroyal and Advance America. Fish has been hired as a graphic designer on the Verizon Wireless account. After receiving a Bachelor of Fine Arts in graphic design from Ohio Northern University, she worked as a sales coordinator for Fallon Neon before coming to Erwin-Penland. Fish is a native of Rochester, N.Y.
