Riverbend Equestrian Park, located on 66 pastoral acres in northern Greenville County at 175 Riverbend Road, is South Carolina's only municipally owned equestrian facility. Operated by Greenville's Recreation District, Riverbend provides many programs and activities for people of all ages and skill levels.Riverbend Equestrian Park offers instruction focused on safety, classical technique and communication between horse and rider. Along with teaching classical riding with an emphasis on Dressage, the instructional staff incorporates Centered Riding into classes. Staff members are highly qualified, able to teach riding at an introductory level and take students to the top of the sport. Riverbend offers instruction for any level, including Classical Dressage instruction, beginner lessons (6 years and older), and group or private lessons. Along with the lessons provided, Riverbend Equestrian Park offers a therapeutic riding program, an equestrian team, competitions, and horse shows and clinics.
The Park also offers birthday parties complete with a hayride and pony rides, a petting zoo, field trips and bonfires for student-adult groups, and summer riding camps. The staff will answer any questions or send registration materials through the mail.

The facility itself is also available for rental. Facilities include a 20x60 Dressage ring, 90 show stalls, three show rings, a covered picnic area, a gazebo and PA system.
