The Derby Dames Return! First Bout Today

The toughest girls in Greenville are back. After the long offseason, the flat track roller derby team appropriately deemed the Derby Dames are anxious to get underway.

The 2010 season kicks off on February 4 when the Dames face off with the New River Valley Roller Girls. Tensions will be high and the action will be intense as the two battle for roller derby supremacy. Come out and see the stars of the Derby Dames, including Amber Rage, Daisy Do Wrong, and Hollicidal.

October 9 - Palmetto State Roller Girls

You can also check out the Derby Dames at their practice sessions. Practices are held every Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday at Skateland, 7514 White Horse Rd, Greenville, SC 29611-2027.

Wednesday: 6:30 - 8:30 pm
Saturday: 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
Sunday: 7:00 - 9:00 pm

The first Sunday of every month is OPEN TO NEW SKATERS. So come by and see if you have what it takes. Who knows, maybe you could be Derby Dame!
