CallTech Communications, LLC had a ribbon cutting ceremony at their new facility in Columbia, South Carolina, on Tuesday, May 20, 2003, to celebrate the opening of their new call center that will initially employ 200 people, but will expand to 400 employees over the next six months. Securing CallTech Communications' newest facility in the state of South Carolina is a major coup for the Palmetto State. CallTech Communications, with facilities in four other states, Ohio (2), Florida, Pennsylvania and Georgia, was a coveted recruit by state economic development teams through out the US.The Columbus, Ohio-based call center provider has expanded its presence to the Columbia area to provide customer care and technical support for a number of clients, including the Internet Fast Access Division of BellSouth. CallTech�s Columbia call center will offer its clients customer service capabilities via phone, fax, e-mail and click-to-chat. This new center is located at 300 St. Andrews Road in Columbia. The 25,000+-square-foot facility will house 300 seats. CallTech has hired 200 agents to provide customer service and technical support, with employment plans to double in the next six months.
