Biltmore welcomes Spring with Festival of Flowers and celebratory Easter Egg Hunt on Sunday


Biltmore officially welcomes spring this weekend with the beginning of the 25th annual Festival of Flowers and Easter Egg Hunt on the front lawn of Biltmore House Sunday, April 4. Lush green landscapes, aromatic floral displays and thousands of blooms adorn the estate as warmer weather arrives.

Three egg hunts will be held throughout the day at 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. Registration begins at 9 a.m. and will close 15 minutes before each hunt.

Activities taking place throughout the day Easter Sunday:

On the Front Lawn

� Visits with the Easter Rabbit: 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
� Children�s Music and Stories: 9:45 a.m., 11:45 a.m., 1:45 p.m.
� Magic Shows: 10:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m., 2:30 p.m.
� Crafts, coloring pages and word find games
� Easter Egg Hunts: 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.
� Designed for children ages 2 to 9 years old
� Children will need to bring their own basket

Inside Biltmore House

� Live music: 11a.m., noon, 1 p.m., 2 p.m., 3 p.m.

Winery

� Children�s Grape Stomp: 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Antler Hill Farm in Antler Hill Village

� Live Music at Antler Hill Barn: 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
� �Make and Take� crafts, Easter egg dyeing, games, baby animals: Noon to 5 p.m.
� Live music at The Bandstand: 2 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
