The impressive leap from last year�s No. 83 debut distinguishes Artisphere from hundreds of national and regional art shows.

The October issue of Sunshine Artist also featured Artisphere in its �State Reports and Reviews� section. Composed of fast audits allowing festival artists to comment on their overall experience, the section includes reviews of quality of work in the show, balance of mediums, prestige of the show, attendance, advertising, management, judging and awards, artist treatment, and amenities.

Sunshine Artist reported that despite its young age, Artisphere is already making quite an impression on the art show circuit.

Earlier this year, Artisphere ranked No. 18 out of 600 national shows in Greg Lawler�s Art Fair Sourcebook, a ranking based on artists� average sales. A comparison of Art Fair Sourcebook and Sunshine Artist demonstrates the sometimes varying evaluations of the two publications:

• Main Street Fort Worth Arts Festival of Fort Worth, Texas, ranked No. 8 in Art Fair Sourcebook, but placed No. 21 in Sunshine Artist
• Coconut Grove Arts Festival of Coconut Grove, Fla., placed No. 28 in the Art Fair Sourcebook and No. 5 in Sunshine Artist
• St. Louis Art Fair of St. Louis, Mo., placed No. 6 in Art Fair Sourcebook and No. 26 in Sunshine Artist
• Cottonwood Art Festival of Richardson, Texas, ranked No. 11 in the Art Fair Sourcebook and No. 47 in Sunshine Artist
