The Greenville Water Splash Pad at Unity Park will be closed beginning Monday, June 20. It will re-open during the Fourth of July weekend.
After a month of operation, contractors have identified issues with the pump house, drainage and jet heads that need to be addressed. The work is covered by warranty. The improvements will not cost the city additional money.
Closing the Splash Pad for a two-week period in June will allow the City of Greenville to provide the best possible experience for park visitors during the hottest months of the summer. The playgrounds and grassy areas will remain open.
