Residents Urged to Stay Off Roads

As of midday on Sunday, January 16, City of Greenville officials recorded four inches of snow, topped with one inch of ice. Driving conditions continue to remain treacherous.

Gusty winds have taken down a few trees and at least one power line. The temperatures are below freezing and the wind chill is bitter.

Emergency crews continue to urge City of Greenville residents to stay home and stay safe. When drivers are off the roads plows and first responders can work more easily.

Real time road closures and emergency information can be found at emergency.greenvillesc.gov.
