Greenville Cares Service Now Accepts Text Messages

Greenville Cares is a one-stop customer service center, and you can now get information about City of Greenville programs, services, and events by texting 864-232-CARE (2273).

Live telephone assistance is available Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm.

Additionally, Greenville City Hall is open to walk-in traffic from 8 am to 4:45 pm Monday through Friday. Only visitors with pre-scheduled appointments will be permitted beyond the first floor between 4:45 pm and 5 pm. Please register in the lobby. Please note that this does not apply to after-hours public meetings.

On evenings or weekends, you can receive assistance for an immediate need by calling the police non-emergency number: 864-271-5333.

Citizens can also email their questions or service requests to [email protected] or via the convenient online service request.

All service requests are assigned an ID number, routed to the appropriate departments and tracked through the City’s work management system. Some of the more common requests that Greenville Cares receives relate to issues such as street and sidewalk repairs; trash and recycling pickup; graffiti, speeding and streetlight outages.
