Greenville Drive’s 15th Anniversary Season Kicks-Off on May 4th

Greenville Drive baseball officially returns after a pandemic-induced 20-month hiatus on Tuesday, May 4th! Opening Day presented by TD Bank kicks-off the Drive’s 15th anniversary season in downtown Greenville at Fluor Field.

First pitch is scheduled for 7:05 pm, with gates opening at 6:00 pm. Drive Ticket Plan Holders can enter the ballpark at 5:30 pm through the Front Porch.

The Drive will welcome the Bowling Green Hot Rods (affiliate of the Tampa Bay Rays) for the first 6-games of the season. With the restructuring of leagues in Minor League Baseball, this will be the first time the Drive and Hot Rods have faced each other since 2009. Following that season, the Hot Rods moved to the Midwest League.

In conjunction with State and Local recommendations, as well as MLB protocols, Fluor Field will be at 50% capacity for the month of May. Fan are reminded that masks are required when entering the ballpark, as well as when walking the concourse, and to practice social distancing.
