First Ever Virtual #FurmanAtHome Homecoming Starts Mid-October for Alumni

Homecoming weekend is traditionally a special time for Furman alumni to return to Greenville and for the campus community of students, faculty and staff to enjoy a variety of activities and programs.

Consistent with Furman’s commitment to health and safety during the COVID-19 pandemic, this year’s Homecoming is an opportunity to introduce new and creative programs in place of existing traditions.

The Office of Alumni and Parent Engagement will host Furman’s first ever virtual #FurmanAtHome Homecoming celebration during the last two weeks of October. All on-campus Homecoming activities for alumni will be postponed. A full schedule of virtual events will be shared with alumni in the coming weeks and posted on Furman’s Homecoming Website. Furman invites the campus community to join the alumni community and participate in these new opportunities.

The Furman University Student Activities Board (FUSAB) and Student Alumni Council (SAC) are in discussions regarding student activities. FUSAB and SAC look forward to sharing more information in the coming weeks and offering opportunities for student engagement on campus.
