Greenville County Schools Closed Through April 30

In response to the spread of COVID-19, South Carolina Governor Henry McMaster has extended the closure of all K-12 schools in South Carolina to April 30.

Greenville County Schools has already made plans for this possibility, including the scheduled distribution this Wednesday and Thursday, March 26-27, of materials that will take students through the week of April 20.

As GCS continues to follow the existing calendar to the extent possible, Spring Break will be observed as scheduled for the week of April 13. GCS is grateful for all the families out there who are serving as parents and teachers and recognize that this is adding to an already stressful situation. Thank you for all you are doing to support your child’s instruction.

Remember that teachers are available during regular school hours to assist in any way possible. GCS will continue to provide regular updates on the Greenville County Schools website.
