The 10th Annual Indie Craft Parade is This Weekend

The Indie Craft Parade is an annual festival of handmade art by artists from across the South. This year’s weekend-long event at Furman University’s Timmons Arena features a highly curated selection of handcrafted goods in a variety of mediums.

From the convivial spirit of attendees and their support of the artists to extras like local food and a free photo booth, Indie Craft Parade is a celebration of all things handcrafted.

The festival hours are from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm on Saturday, Sept. 14, and 11:00 am to 5:00 pm on Sunday, Sept. 15. This year’s festival will also feature a special ticketed First Dibs Party on Friday, Sept. 13, from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

The new venue at Timmons Arena will grant the festival’s 100+ exhibitors more generous booth space while better accommodating the ever-expanding attendee base, who have contributed to an estimated $900,000 yearly economic impact in the Greenville community. Previously home to the Hill Skills craft fair, Timmons Arena has a legacy of giving artists a platform for sharing their talents.

Indie Craft Parade co-founder and Creative Director Lib Ramos shares, “When starting this event in 2010, we never anticipated this type of incredible response. Our team’s new physical work space reflects our growth, opens up limitless possibilities, and furthers our commitment to expanding and evolving the way we support and empower creative entrepreneurs in our community.”

Tickets are $6 for the public shopping hours on Saturday and Sunday, and $25 for the special ticketed event on Friday.
