Hundreds of cyclists will take to the road on Saturday, April 27 for the 13th annual Wheels for Meals Charity Ride benefiting Meals on Wheels of Greenville.
Departing from and returning to Trailblazer Park in Travelers Rest, there are five routes to choose from, including 10-, 25-, 50-, 72-, and 100-mile options. After the race, a post-ride celebration will be held at Trailblazer Park with food from Table 301, drinks from New Belgium Brewing Company, and various local vendors.
Wheels for Meals Schedule
- 100-mile English Century departs at 7:30 am
- 25-, 50-mile, and 72-mile depart at 8:30 am
- 10-mile Family Fun Ride departs at 9:00 am
- Post-Ride Celebration from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm
Funds from the event are raised through sponsorship donations and peer-to-peer fundraising by participants. Since the ride’s inception, Wheels for Meals has funded over 295,000 meals for the homebound.
