13th Annual Community Health Summit

The Summit is Prisma Health’s signature community health education initiative held annually in April and is the largest health conference in the Southeast.

The event’s purpose is to engage, equip, and educate about major health threats and disparities that disproportionately affect many lives in our community. This event is free and lunch provided for adults and youths ages ten and up with registration (available for free at www.eventbrite.com). The event takes place from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at the Greenville Convention Center. Please arrive early for seating.

This year’s keynote speakers include The Twin Doctors. As seen on NBC Nightly News, Drs. Brandi and Brittani Jackson are twin sisters from Twinsburg, Ohio. They are medical doctors and co-founders of Med Like Me, aimed at changing the face of medicine by supporting and inspiring those who are underrepresented in healthcare.

The summit features and activities include: physician panel, diabetes and mental health educational presentations, cultural nutrition speakers, on-site community health partners, basic health screenings and consultations for diabetes, and mental health and health risk assessments.
