Final Weekend of Performances for The Warehouse Theatre’s The Power of Sail

In this world premiere at The Warehouse Theatre, Harvard professor Charles Nichols is afraid that his prominence is fading as he watches a younger generation of academics appear on cable news as talking heads.

So he takes a calculated risk in inviting an incredibly controversial White Nationalist speaker to campus.  The student body immediately protests and the administration attempts to shut him down. Undeterred, Charles takes a grad student with him to interview the subject, with disastrous results.

With a contemporary plot that feels ripped from the headlines, this new drama crackles with a deep and immediate urgency.

Featuring Rob Kahn (Rocky Horror 2018), Kerrie Seymour (Richard III, August: Osage County), Sean Michael (The Whipping Man, Sweat), Christopher Paul Smith (Much Ado About NothingSpring Awakening), Andy Croston (A Streetcar Named DesireMacbeth) and Anna Abhau Elliott (Warehouse debut).

Featuring designs by Shannon Robert (Scenic), Kendra Johnson (Costumes), Tony Penna (Lights), Marc Gwinn (Sound), and Cassidy Bowles (Properties).

Performances take place March 15-31, Thursdays through Sundays. General admission tickets begin at $35. Visit warehousetheatre.com/power-of-sail/ for additional information and to purchase tickets in advance.
