American Airlines Begins Nonstop Service to Miami From GSP

It’s now much easier to travel from the Upstate to South Florida. American Airlines is now providing nonstop flights to Miami International Airport (MIA) with service from Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport (GSP).

“It is always exciting to add new destinations and to expand relationships with existing airline partners,” said Dave Edwards, GSP’s president and CEO. “Miami is a popular city for vacations and it’s also an international hub that provides connections to the Caribbean, Central and South America.”

American will offer two flights daily using 50-seat ERJ-145 regional jet aircraft. Tickets for these flights are on sale now and can be booked at aa.com.

American offers up to 21 daily nonstop departures from GSP to six destinations including Charlotte, Chicago, Dallas-Ft.Worth, Philadelphia, Washington, D.C and new service to Miami.

In 2018, GSP added new nonstop service to five destinations and welcomed a new airline resulting in over twelve consecutive months of growth in passenger activity.

Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport (GSP) is conveniently located between Greenville and Spartanburg, along I-85. More than 2.2 million passengers per year are served by six major airlines offering 100 total daily flights to 19 destinations and one-stop connections to hundreds of cities across the globe. The airport is also a hub for air cargo, including automotive parts and other goods regularly flown to and from Europe and Mexico as well as throughout the United States. Learn more at gspairport.com.
