Steve and Kathy Doocy are coming to Greenville, SC, to sign copies of their new cookbook, The Happy Cookbook: A Celebration of the Food That Makes America Smile, at Fiction Addiction on Saturday, October 13 at 10:00 am.
Steve Doocy calls Kathy, his wife of more than thirty years, “the best cook I’ve ever met.” Together, they take joy in cooking and entertaining with their family and friends. In The Happy Cookbook, the Doocys share favorite recipes, stories, and photos from their family life. In addition to beloved family dishes, this full-color cookbook includes recipes from friends like musician Kid Rock, professional golfer Greg Norman, and many more!
The Happy Cookbook will not only appeal to Steve’s legions of Fox & Friends fans, but to anyone looking for accessible, fun, and delicious food that will inspire great meals for every day and for special occasions. The Happy Cookbook includes a range of yummy dishes for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, such as:

Offering an inside look at the Doocys’ home life — their food, stories, and infectious family spirit — The Happy Cookbook is all-American home cooking at its best: nothing fancy, and everything delicious!
Pre-orders are strongly recommended to ensure availability. Each copy of The Happy Cookbook to be signed must be accompanied by a signing ticket. Signing tickets are free, but only available with a purchase of The Happy Cookbook from Fiction Addiction. Each signing line ticket allows up to 2 adults and any accompanying children into the signing line. Do NOT lose your tickets, or you’ll be required to purchase replacement books! No outside copies of The Happy Cookbook are allowed. Event books/signing tickets must be picked up from the store after the book releases on October 2 or at the event itself (they will not be mailed).
Those who cannot make the event can pre-order signed books to be picked up at the store after the event or shipped. These copies can be personalized so specify in the Comments box if they should be signed “To [someone]”.
The Doocys will personalize your books, including their backlist books. Backlist books may be brought from home or purchased from Fiction Addiction. You may purchase as many copies of The Happy Cookbook from Fiction Addiction to get signed as you wish. No outside copies of The Happy Cookbook are allowed. A staff member will be tagging your books with post-it notes so please know in advance how you’d like them personalized (i.e., “To Jim”).
The Doocys will take a photo with you after they sign your books. Fiction Addiction will have a staff member on hand to help with your photos. Please set your phones to not autolock and turn off the flash.
The signing line will form on a first-come, first-served basis but we reserve the right to insert customers with disabilities. The signing line will start on the sidewalk outside of the Fiction Addiction building, so bring umbrellas in case of bad weather. Fiction Addiction strongly recommends that you be in line by 11:00 am at the latest. Once the signing line dies out, the Doocys will leave for their next event.
Parking: Once the Fiction Addiction shopping center parking lot fills up, please park at Haywood Mall and walk carefully across the service road to the Fiction Addiction shopping center.
