United Way School Tools Event on August 18th

With the start of the new school year quickly approaching, United Way of Greenville County wants to help families in need by providing school supplies for their children.

The goal of the United Way School Tools project is to provide students in rising K-4 through rising 8th grade with a new book bag and school supplies. If your family needs school supplies please attend the Saturday, August 18th, event from 8:30 am to 11:00 am at Freetown Community Center, 200 Alice Avenue, Greenville.

Please park in the Friendship Baptist Church parking lot or in their field across the street and walk to Freetown Community Center by following the School Tools signs. Once full, park at Shoeless Joe Jackson County Park, 406 West Avenue, Greenville 29611. Shuttles will run from the park beginning at 7:30 am.

In addition to the drive at Freetown Community Center, United Way will host School Tools events in Simpsonville, Slater-Marietta, and Greer.
