Meals on Wheels of Greenville Welcomes New Director of Volunteer Services

Meals on Wheels of Greenville is pleased to welcome Jessica Sharp as Director of Volunteer Services.

In this role, Sharp will develop and implement strategic volunteer recruitment, engagement and retention plans, oversee all aspects of the day-to-day operations of the Volunteer Services Department, and represent Meals on Wheels throughout the community.

“Jessica is passionate about making a difference,” said Catriona Carlisle, Executive Director at Meals on Wheels of Greenville. “Her experience working with community volunteers combined with her fresh ideas and energy for serving the homebound make her a tremendous addition to the Meals on Wheels team.”

Previously, Sharp served as the Diversity Manager at Greenville Health System and the Teen Achievers and Youth in Government Program Director at the YMCA of Greenville.

Sharp is an active member of the Greenville community through organizations like Junior League of Greenville, the Greenville Chamber of Commerce and United Way of Greenville County. She is a Leadership Greenville alumni and a Diversity Fellow with the Riley Institute’s Diversity Leaders Initiative. Sharp is a graduate of the University of South Carolina and holds a master’s degree from the University of Missouri.
