WNC Repair Cafe is reopening its doors to the community on April 24th for an evening of free repairs. A repair cafe is a place where people with broken things come together with the people who have the know-how to fix them. The event is held in the spirit of community, education, resilience, and sustainability, not to mention the possibility of cider and donuts.
The next WNC Repair Cafe will be held on Tuesday April 24th, from 5:00 – 8:00 PM at the Living Web Farms’ Biochar Facility at 220 Grandview Ln, Hendersonville NC.
Though donations are encouraged to cover costs of materials and expansion of our in-house tool library, some simple supplies and labor will be provided at no charge. Early registration increases chance of successful repair. Sign up early at www.livingwebfarms.org/workshops for priority service.
