SC Project Learning Tree (PLT) announces a workshop
designed specifically for natural resource professionals
and informal educators. PLT’s programs build on
children’s sense of wonder and provide an early
foundation for developing positive impressions about
nature and lifelong social and academic skills. If you
are a forester, state park interpreter, work at a nature
center or any other capacity where you interact with
children in grades PreK-8, then this workshop is for you. Workshop also counts for five Category 2 CFEs for foresters.
Workshop includes:
• Participating in hands-on activities you can use in the classroom or field and
instruction on how to use the PLT activity guide to locate activities and resources;
• Share ideas, information and resources with other professionals;
• Each participant receives a FREE 402-page preK-8 PLT activity guide with over 96
hands-on, minds-on activities that teach critical thinking and problem solving skills.
