Join acclaimed author, Mary Ann Claud, as she shares her new novel Alex Dances at Fiction Addiction on November 16 at 2 PM. Mary Ann will be reading from the book and engaging in a conversation with International Ballet of Greenville’s Executive Director, Sarah Shoemaker, on what it takes to pursue a professional career in ballet.
Alex Dances tells the story of the fourth generation of strong-willed women within a prominent family in the Southern textile industry. Rather than step into the family business, however, Alex has chosen to become a classical dancer. And therein lies the story.
