This program will help service providers to expand their knowledge & have a better understanding of the dynamics of interpersonal violence.

TARGET AUDIENCE: Law Enforcement Officers, Lawyers, Judges, Attorneys, Magistrates, Nurse, Social Workers, Counselors/Therapists, VSPS, School Teachers, Ministers and Anyone interested.

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: This one-day program will help service providers to expand their knowledge and have a better understanding of the dynamics of interpersonal violence.

The goal of this program is to provide quality, local training on interpersonal violence issues for participants from the Upstate target population.

Ultimately, the desired outcome would be to increase victim safety and offender accountability. In addition, we would like to see a reduction of the number of interpersonal violence in our community through increased collaboration, better understanding and communications between those organizations that assist victims.

CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDITS will be applied for the following:

Law Enforcement Officers, Judges, Attorneys, VSPs, Nurses, Social Workers and Counselors/Therapists

You must attend 90% of each of the educational session and complete the evaluation to receive CE credit for the entire program. No partial credit will be awarded.

VSPs must sign-in to receive CRE credit.
