Rich in history, the South Carolina Peach Festival began as a one-day event located in downtown Gaffney. The festival has since grown into a multi-day party of non-stop fun for the whole family.
The Peach Festival includes a variety of events through July 23rd. Families will enjoy the parade, carnival, and arts and crafts show in downtown Gaffney. Foodies look forward to sampling fare from the barbecue contest and the peach dessert contest. Associated sporting events include a golf tournament as well as 5K and 10K road races. The final crowd pleasers are a tractor pull and mud bog.
Through the years, the South Carolina Peach Festival has hosted more than two hundred of the biggest names in the recording industry and takes pride in being selected as one of the Top 20 Events by the Southeast Tourism Society. They hope to focus on the rich heritage of the South Carolina Peach Festival by including an assortment of downtown activities.
