Beginning this week, the City of Greenville will offer a special weekend parking promotion at the Spring Street Garage, located at 316 South Spring Street.
The promotion begins at 6 p.m. on Fridays and ends at midnight on Saturdays. Anyone who enters and exits the Spring Street Garage during those hours will only be required to pay a flat fee of $2.00.
The Spring Street Garage is located just a block away from the heart of the TD Saturday Market, and to encourage its use on Saturdays, the City has designed the promotion, called Park it for the Market, to coincide with the market season, which begins May 2 and runs through October 31. In addition to the special rate, the City’s Parking Services Division will offer giveaways and promotions during the season for market-goers who park in the garage.
The $2 rate will be suspended on May 8 and 9 for Artisphere; on July 4 for Wells Fargo Red, White & Blue and on October 9 and 10 for Fall for Greenville. On those days, the $5 special event rate will apply.
