Oktoberfest at NOMA Square

Oktoberfest returns this weekend to NOMA Square! The festival takes over the popular plaza in downtown Greenville, featuring bratwurst, limbo, and, of course, amazing food and beer.

There will be a wide selection of brews from Paulaner such as: Paulaner’s Munich Lager, Hefe-Weizen, or a tall glass of Paulaner’s Oktoberfest. There will also be live entertainment every night! And don’t forget about the games! You can expect to find plenty of cornhole, Jenga, chicken dances, and even a stein holding competition.

The full schedule of events includes:

Friday, October 5, 11:00 am to 9:30 pm – During the day, enjoy live music by Foothills Ooompah Band. The Channelheimers take the stage from 5:00 pm to 9:30 pm. The famous bratwurst eating contest will begin at 7:00 pm. Contestants can enter when an announcement is made from the stage.

Saturday, October 6, 11:00 am to 9:30 pm – Lunch and live music with The Channelheimers Oompah Band from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm. The Foothills Oompah Band then takes the stage from 5:30 pm to 9:30 pm. The Stein Holding Competition is scheduled for 7:00 pm.
