You won’t want to miss our newest exhibit: The Hunt for Treasure! Explore the intrigue and excitement of treasure hunting with museum staff and dress like a pirate, gold miner or modern day treasure hunter.

The exhibit will run through June 2nd at the Childrens Museum of the Upstate.

Learn about shipwrecks, treasure hunters, tools for hunting treasure and how to look for treasure close to home.

“The Hunt for Treasure!” has four themes including sunken treasure, buried treasure, metal detecting and the modern treasure hunt. The hands-on activities throughout the exhibit allow visitors to use metal detectors, hoist a pirate flag and more!
