Main Street Fridays (formerly Main Street Jazz), the popular Friday night music series in downtown Greenville, is back for its 2013 season. This ongoing event rates high in the eyes of locals, and features some of the very best local, regional, and national musicians.

The series continues at Hyatt Plaza for 28 weeks between late-March and September; featuring jazz, blues, oldies, and soul music with a series total of approximately 45,000 visitors annually.The music series began in 1995, and has grown in size and reputation every year since then. Main Street Fridays runs from 5:30-9:30PM, and is held on Main Street, between Beattie Street and North Street (Hyatt Plaza Deck). Admission is free.

Bring a picture ID if you intend to purchase alcohol. In order to purchase or consume alcohol within the permit area, you must be 21-years of age (or older), present a valid picture ID, and purchase a City of Greenville approved wristband for $1.00; times for sales and consumption of alcohol will be posted at the ticket purchase locations. Downtown Alive does not provide seating at the event so feel free to bring a chair, dancing shoes just in case, a smile and a song in your heart!

Please do not bring coolers, pets, bicycles, skateboard, frowns, or bad attitudes!
