Get your work noticed! The library is hosting a digital photography contest, open to all Greenville County teens in grades 6 -12. The contest continues throuigh April 12.Entries must be the original work of the submitting participant, and entries that contain inappropriate content will not be considered. Photographers, please don’t send anything that would make your grandmother blush! Entries must be submitted electronically as an attachment to an email to the following email address: jbabb@greenvillelibrary.org. All submissions must have the participant’s full name, grade level, address and telephone number. Participants must also submit a completed consent form by mail or in person to any of our library branches. Only one entry per person is allowed, and all entries must be submitted by Saturday, April 12th. Winning entries will be posted on the Greenville County Library System’s website--teen section. Participants’ entries may appear in future GCLS teen publications. Incorrect or incomplete entries will be disqualified. Entries will be judged on originality and composition in the following categories:
Photos may be used in library publications. For more information call 242.5000 x2247 Teenville, the teen area of the Hughes Main Library offers books, magazines, audiobooks, and computer games.
