Greenville City to Offer Free Parking on Nov. 27 and 28

The City of Greenville will again offer free parking at all of its parking facilities on Thanksgiving Day and Black Friday.

Parking will be free beginning at 6:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 27 and ending at 6:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 29.

According to Dennis Garrett, the City’s Parking Services General Manager, offering free parking is a way to express the City’s appreciation for parkers’ patronage throughout the year and the perfect opportunity to kick off the holiday shopping season. “We hope everyone will take advantage of this free parking event and make plans to come enjoy the multitude of shops and restaurants that downtown has to offer,” said Garrett. “United Community Bank Ice on Main will also be going strong, and skaters can park for free in several conveniently located garages near the rink.”
