Cowart Awards has been named November Small Business of the Month by the Greater Greenville Chamber of Commerce. Founded in 1965, Cowart Awards specializes in retail trophies, plaques, custom designed awards, engraving and promotional products. With the motto “We Make Awards That Make Winners Smile,” Cowart Awards has seen a 25 percent increase in sales over the last five years. The company is ranked in the top three percent of award companies nationwide and is a charter member of the Recognition Roundtable, a group of ten premier award companies, and the Awards and Recognition Association. Each month, the chamber recognizes the hard work and achievement of Greenville’s finest small businesses through the Small Business of the Month award. Companies are eligible for nomination if they are members of the Greenville Chamber and have been in business for five years or longer. The chamber’s Small Business Awards Committee selects recipients that best exemplify excellence in the business arena and the community.
