Bus Route 1 Service Changes Effective Sept. 19th

In an effort to eliminate unsafe turns, Greenlink has planned several changes to Route 1.

Beginning September 19th, Route 1 will continue as follows from Pleasantburg Drive:

– Turn RIGHT onto West Antrim Drive
– Turn LEFT onto Frederick Street
– STOP at the Greenville Tech Buck Mickel Center (NEW!)
– STOP at SHARE (NEW!)
– STOP at the intersection of Frederick Street and McAllister Road (NEW!)
– Turn RIGHT onto McAlister Road

Additionally, the following stops will no longer be served:

– Pleasantburg Drive across the street from the University Center
– Legrand Boulevard near the Coin Laundry

Taking the bus has immense benefits for the residents of Greenville, and these changes are aimed to increase satisfaction, efficiency, and safety. Other benefits of using the bus service include arriving at work happier and on time because you don’t have to deal with traffic; gassing up the car is expensive and you can save money by riding the bus; getting in shape by exercising as you walk to and from the bus stop; meeting new people; and going green!

As a reminder, all Greenlink buses are wheelchair accessible.
