Ford Motor Credit recently presented Meals on Wheels of Greenville with a check for $4,000. These funds will provide hot, nutritious meals and a volunteer visit to 800 homebound clients.
The check presentation was a part of the 2017 Ford MODEL Teams Community Building Accelerated Action Day. Ford Motor Credit volunteers also spent the morning volunteering at Meals on Wheels and packing nearly 1,500 meals for the homebound.
“We are truly grateful for the continued support of Ford Motor Credit,” said Amanda Osborne, Director of Development at Meals on Wheels of Greenville. “They not only provide valuable financial support to fund meals for our clients, but also invest their time and energy volunteering throughout the year to personally make an impact in the lives of their neighbors.”
Since 2008, Ford Motor Credit employees have devoted 2,495 volunteer hours to Meals on Wheels of Greenville.
