The Upstate now has a beautiful, new event venue. South&West is located in downtown Easley, appropriately named as it sits at the corner of South First Street and West First Avenue.
South&West is a great venue for wedding receptions, showers, family events, corporate gatherings, and more. The venue has been completely remodeled, having previously served as a Southern Bank and Trust. The floor plan is now open and spacious. The only remnants of the building’s days as a bank are the vault and, if you look closely, the logo on the exterior of the building. The spot where the bank windows were is now a french door and the area that was once the drive-thru is now a beautiful patio complete with a large fireplace.
Chris Robinson, the owner of South&West, said he felt the project had come full circle, as his father had served on the board in Southern Bank and Trust’s early years.
