19th Annual Fall Classic Golf Tournament

Meals on Wheels of Greenville invites you to tee up on the beautiful Cliffs Valley golf course on Tuesday, October 7, 2014.

In its 19th year, the Fall Classic raises funding and awareness to benefit the homebound of Greenville who depend on the daily, life-sustaining support they receive from Meals on Wheels and its dedicated volunteers.

In 2013, the Fall Classic raised enough funding to provide more than 24,000 hot, nutritious meals.

“This year we are hoping to raise enough funds to provide at least 28,000 meals,” says Lorain Crowl, Development Director for Meals on Wheels. “With this goal in mind, we’re calling on all our great community partners who have supported the tournament in the past and all those who just love to play a great round of golf for a good cause to get involved.”

In 2013, the tournament moved to the beautiful Cliffs Valley course in the mountains of North Greenville. As in previous years, all teams will compete for the coveted Don Hammons Trophy and a set of Michelin Tires. Foursomes will tee off in two flights: morning and afternoon. A delicious clubhouse lunch will be served and all players will receive a Peter Millar premium gift package.
