Camp Greenville
YMCA Camp Greenville is very proud of its very special natural setting. The mountain top campus is situated at 3200 feet above sea level and includes well over 1600 acres of property. Set on the eastern ridge of the Blue Ridge Mountains, Camp Greenville provides excellent panoramic views of the South Carolina upstate area.
Carolina Panthers Training Camp
The Carolina Panthers train every summer at Wofford College in Spartanburg, SC, and host a variety of camps, competitions, and programs. Football fans are welcome to watch practices; it is strongly suggested that fans bring blankets, towels, folding chairs, or golf-type stools to make the hillside a more comfortable spot, and also sunscreen and hats.

Greenville Parks and Recreation Department
The Parks & Recreation Department provides supervision and administrative support for the operation of recreation programs and facilities, for activities of the Greenville Zoo, and for the maintenance of parks, beautification sites, rights-of-way, cemeteries and trees. This office also promotes leisure opportunities through the news media, utilizes co-sponsors to enhance public awareness and participation, and serves as the City's liaison to downtown festivals and City advisory boards.

Peachoid Water Tower

The Peachoid is the 1-million-gallon water tank built by the Gaffney Commission of Public Works to honor the state's (and particularly Cherokee County's) fresh peach industry. The giant peach is easily seen from I-85, but you can take the exit for S.C. Highway 11, Cherokee Foothills Scenic Highway, for a closer look.
