Four-H
Four-H is the youth educational phase of the Clemson University
Cooperative Extension Service. Youth between the ages of 5 and 19

Girl
Scouts of the Old 96 Council
Girl Scouts of the Old 96 Council serves over 6,000 girls and 2,000
adults in Abbeville, Anderson, Greenville, Greenwood, Laurens, Oconee,
and Pickens Counties of South Carolina. Old 96 Council is a part of
Girl Scouts of the USA, the world’s preeminent organization
dedicated solely to girls – all girls – where, in
an accepting and nurturing environment, girls build character and
skills for the real world. In partnership with committed adult
volunteers, girls develop qualities that will serve them all their
lives, like leadership skills, strong values, social conscience, and
conviction about their own potential and self-worth.
Golden
Strip Track Club is a non-profit community
based organization, managed by volunteers. The objective is to provide
youth an opportunity to participate in Track and Field activities in an
organized and positive environment.
Greenville
County Youth Orchestra
The orchestra's approximately 100 members represent many of the high
schools in the district, as we as other public and private schools from
across South Carolina's Upstate.
The Children's Museum
of the Upstate

Junior Achievement
Junior Achievement educates and inspires young people through the
understanding of business and economics. Junior Achievement teaches
youth about business, the economy and the enterprise system in America.

Pamletto
Youth Orchestra and Sinfonia
The Palmetto Youth Orchestra is a modern symphony orchestra,
representing most secondary
schools throughout the area. PYO is affiliated with Converse College
through the Alia Lawson Pre-College Program. Under the guidance of
professionals, PYO musicians will culivate an appreciation for the
beauty and excitement of the world's greatest music.
Phillis Wheatley Association provides a comprehensive program designed to meet
the educational, health, nutritional and social needs of youth. There
is a preschool program for three and four-year-old children from 7:30
a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and an after-school program until 6:00 p.m. for students. Call

Roper
Mountain Science Center
Owned and operated by the School District of Greenville County, the
Science Center's primary purpose is to provide high quality enhancement
to the school district's classroom curriculum. Through its numerous
hands-on and attention-grabbing science programs available to
school-age children, the Science Center has earned a reputation
throughout the state of providing students with dynamic, entertaining
and thought-provoking science programs that, no doubt, are leading many
of today's students into future careers in science.
The Roper Mountain Science Center is located off I-385 at Exit 37
(Roper Mountain Road); cross over the Interstate bridge and the
entrance is the second road on the right.
Salvation Army Boys and Girls Club
provides educational programs for youth designed to help youth develop
citizenship and leadership in their communities. Transportation is
provided. Programs include, but are not limited to, after school
programs, craft skill development, field trips, physical activities and
social opportunities.
Sterling
Community Center offers a variety of programs
for youth, including after-school programs, intramural basketball, and
special events.
